Liquid gas tank monitoring

Liquid gas is used in households and industry installations of various kind. Gas suppliers need to monitor the actual gas consumption and the gas level in a tank in order to attract new customers and to keep the old ones.

To meet the above mentioned needs, VECTOR has designed a gas tank monitoring system with the following features:

• easy installation, remote maintenance and configuration of the system
• possibility of defining periodical/on request gas consumption and the gas level monitoring
• possibility of remote control of the safety valve cutting the gas supply
• alarm detection: antysabotage, safety and others
• system communications based on a GSM network and a radio frequency in a non-licensed band
• telemetry module housing resistant to atmospheric conditions
• the ATEX certificate which entitles installation in explosion danger zones
• battery powering of devices

The liquid gas monitoring system developed by VECTOR allows obtaining information which may help to find new revenue sources, effectively use technical infrastructure and to reduce operational costs:

• customers pay for gas they have actually used regardless of the gas level in the tank
• optimization of gas supply depending on the gas level in the tank
• tanks can be used as remote store places, which are filled up when gas is cheap
• finding disloyal customers who buy gas from other suppliers
• cost reduction by commisionning the maintenace telemetry software to VECTOR
