Heating network monitoring
Price regulation of electricity and heating, sector consolidation and expected increase of competitiveness are the reasons for the heating supply companies to be more competitive on the market. The key issue related to keeping the customers is the measurement data acquired by heat meters, like the amount of thermal energy used by a customer, the network parameters (flows, temperatures, work hours, etc.), alarm and failure information. The online access to this data builds competitive advantage, but tomorow it will be a necessity.
Responding to these needs VECTOR has designed the heating network monitoring system with the following features:
The VECTOR monitoring system allows acquiring information which may be helpful to find new revenue sources, effective useing of the technical infrastructure and reducing operational expenditures:

Responding to these needs VECTOR has designed the heating network monitoring system with the following features:
- easy installation, remote maintenance and configuration of the system
- monitoring of counters and weather regulators made by various manufacturers in one system
- flexible system architecture improving reliability and, at the same time, reducing costs
- telemetry modules can have additional inputs/outputs for external signals, e.g. pulse inputs PT 1000, 4-20mA
- system communications based on a GSM network and a radio frequency in a non-licensed bandwidth
- telemetry module housing resistant to weather conditions
- equipment powering from the mains or batteries
The VECTOR monitoring system allows acquiring information which may be helpful to find new revenue sources, effective useing of the technical infrastructure and reducing operational expenditures:
- cost minimalization by failure prediction and fast response when a failure occurs
- other media readings (water, electricity) for other suppliers
- sending monthly bills to customers for actually consumed energy
- detection of dishonest customers
- optimization of produced power
- gaining competitive domination by increasing the service quality
- better customer satisfaction thanks to customer information on the actual thermal energy consumption
