DVB-C systems

DESCRIPTION

Digital Television

The system of digital TV and radio program transmission in a broadband HFC network (DVB-C) can distribute signals coming from any backbone network (ATM, SDH, IP, satellite) or digital program buckets and services created by a regional or local cable TV operator.

Signals are received by subscriber terminals called STB (Set-Top-Box). Subscribers can watch TV programs, listen to the radio or use multimedia interactive services.

VECTOR offers turn-key solutions including hardware, software and technical support, starting with design of the solution, implementation of the system, integration with operator's systems and network and ending with system maintenance and support during its normal operation.
