VECTOR at the ANGA 2009 Show
2009-05-19
The international trade fair for cable, satellite and multimedia - ANGA Cable 2009 will run through 26-28 May 2009 on the Cologne fairgrounds.
VECTOR Company would like to invite you to visit its stand Nr G35.
The company is going to present its offer: optical nodes and receivers, broadband amplifiers and elements of optical and measurement systems.
At the ANGA Show VECTOR will present its the newest system for fully automatic HFC network adjustment. This unique innovative solution simplifies installation, maintenance and replacement of amplifiers while significantly reducing the total costs for system implementation and maintenance. ANA system - Automatic Network Adjustment System is an innovative solution for simultaneous parameters set - up in all devices linked in one cluster. In the cluster there is one Master Amplifier (ex BETA PRO 22G) and up to 20 End Amplifiers (ex. LAMBDA PRO 42G). The solution does not need any information about coaxial cable length nor type to accomplish the automatic adjustment. All the components of the system (all amplifiers in the cluster) can be controlled an managed from Master Amplifier location by group handheld terminal GHHT. The terminal contains an algorithm for automatic network alignment procedure. During automatic adjustment procedure all the amplifiers are precisely adjusted (both in down- and up-stream) according to a given output levels of end amplifiers. It eliminates the number of needed truck rolls to end locations and requirement for technicians’ skills are not so high any more. Amplifiers BETA PRO 22 and LAMBDA PRO 22 can be equipped with the QIS module (Quick Installation Stick) which stores information about setting of the device. It significantly simplifies amplifies unit replacement during repairs. Implementation of the ANA solution doesn’t affect any parameter of the existing network: no additional attenuation, distortion or power consumption or need for special network design.
VECTOR’s visitors will also hear more about the 1GHz Platform. The new BETA PRO 61G and BETA PRO 60G optical nodes have been adapted to operation in the forward path band up to 1002 MHz and in the return path band up to 100 MHz. The nodes are made in the modern technology of digitally controlled devices, which gives the possibility of network monitoring and maintenance based on the Docsis/EuroDocsis and HMS solutions. The node has a LED display used for local control and configuration of the device. The display also shows the optical input power of the node receiver, making the installation process easier. The BETA PRO 61G has also a built-in and integrated uninterrupted power supply (UPS).
At the ANGA Cable 2009 VECTOR will introduce an offer of Trilithic: 8821Q Spectrum Analyzer, 860 DSPi Euro-DOCSIS Analyzer and Seeker GPS Leakage Management System. The newest solution of Trilithic - the 8821Q-R™ portable analyzer can be used anywhere in the cable network, providing a comprehensive array of analog & digital signal quality tests for an advantage in alignment, troubleshooting and proof-of-performance testing. Tests include QAM, MER, pre- and post- FEC BER, equalizer tap graph, in-channel frequency response, group delay and remote operation. Remote operation accesses data management tools for testing, reporting, monitoring & analysis. See video online at www.my8821Q.com. The 860 DSPi™ Installation Analyzer improves installer productivity by performing comprehensive automated triple-play, quality-assurance tests with pass/fail results. Productivity is further enhanced through utilization of TDM™ server, a test data management system. Options include constellations, full range spectrum analyzer, RSVP™ Return Tester functions. Visit the website: www.860dsp.com. Seeker™ GPS Leakage Management System minimizes maintenance costs with maximum efficiency. With the integrated LAW™ server, operators find & fix leaks quickly, minimize tech time, quickly assess network leakage health, and gauge the effectiveness of leakage maintenance efforts. The LAW server collects leakage location data, plots data & marks the leakage source location as push pins on a map and automatically notifies the techs. The Seeker BB-2 integrated leakage detection management system needs no operator interaction and can monitor leakage wherever a vehicle goes. LAW, the powerful analytical application, processes the data from the entire fleet, refining the strength and location of each leak to within feet of its source with patent-pending Quadrangulation. Every truck in the operator’s fleet contributes useful leakage. Check out the video at www.SeekerGPS.com.
VECTOR is going to present FTTH solution based on EPON architecture. Ethernet Passive Optical Network (EPON) systems are based on a point-to-multipoint network topology. Solution consists of Central Office (CO) equipment, Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) and Access Management (SAM) network management systems. This standards-compliant EPON platform is ideally-suited for cable operators delivering the high-speed transmission of voice and data - the most critical applications for business customers.
In order to insure power protection enhancing the reliability of telecommunication networks VECTOR will present its new Power Supply products: the OPPS 250 and 600. VECTOR will answer on your questions concerning this the new product line on the booth at the ANGA Show.
See you on VECTOR stand nr G35!
