BETA PRO 50 - intelligence in your network

VECTOR Company is expanding the group of PROGRESS products and introduces into its offer a new modern optical receiver BETA PRO 50. It has been designed to facilitate the construction of modern broadband networks.

Adjustment of the optical node has been simplified due to its microprocessor control unit that enables uninterruptible adjustment (e.g. AGC, slope, gain), what is extremely important especially for modern services e.g. VoIP, VoD. This solution allows to reduce costs of network maintenance, eliminate the necessity of plug-in modules stock and simplify installation and adjustment of the device.

BETA PRO 50 is equipped with interface module, which enables remote monitoring and control of particular node parameters. It enables to monitoring and manage optical receiver redundancy and status of AGC settings, slope and level adjustment. Additionally it’s possible to monitor optical power of the receiver, supervise DC voltages, control external contacts and inside temperature. The AGC circuit compensates changes in the optical power providing stable RF output level regardless of input signal fluctuations.

Modern forward path receiver allows to work with low optical input power is modern FTTC/FTTB architecture.

Integrated LED display helps in installation and network diagnostic showing optical input power level eliminating the need for additional measuring equipment for technical stuff.
